DEC will be reviewing the list of businesses & institutions required to comply with the law, methodology used, next steps and requirements of these businesses & institutions, the waiver process and other available resources including a list of food scraps transporters and organics recyclers.
DEC will be joined by Feeding NYS who will share information about how they can help your business start or enhance a food donation program. Feeding NYS works with all ten regional food banks across New York State and many localized food relief organizations.
